Wholesale and Logistics Manager
Location: In-Person, Nashville
The Wholesale and Logistics Manager plays a key role in managing wholesale accounts and monitoring inventory. They act as a liaison between the company and the Third Party Logistics warehouse to ensure all inventory processes are being completed seamlessly. The ideal candidate for this role is highly organized, detail-oriented, analytically-skilled, and an effective communicator.
Responsibilities include:

Transport inventory to and from our 3PL

Manage new product samples

Prepare new inventory to be assist with product planning, listings and website merchandising

Create and manage Purchase Orders for all incoming shipments per company standard

Inform 3PL of all incoming shipments

Schedule deliveries using 3PL scheduling software

Track shipments of incoming orders and ensure deadlines are met
- Manage the movement of orders within our order management platform

Manage our customers and orders via wholesale platforms

Manage Wholesale Product listings and Catalogs

Generate weekly/monthly sell-thru reports
- Assist with Customer Experience for Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) operations.

Store Associate- NYC
Location: NYC
As a Store Associate at A Shop of Things, you are acting as the face and first impression of the company. Store Associates are responsible for driving sales through engagement of customers, sharing product knowledge, and suggestive selling. Maintaining a high level of customer service, and a positive attitude is key for this role. You will be responsible for working to create client loyalty and expand our brand presence.The ideal candidate for this role is outgoing, self-motivated, a problem solver, passionate, and able to multitask and work with a sense of urgency. Compensation $20/HR DOE.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting and engaging with all customers
- Restocking the sales floor
- Merchandising product
- Stock counting
- Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the sales floor and stockroom
- Processing incoming shipments
- Ringing out clients at the POS
- Recording daily sales, data, analytics, and metrics
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of policies, products, pricing, and promotions
Skills required:
- Loss Prevention: Monitor and escalate loss prevention matters accordingly.
- Time Management: Able to prioritize tasks to meet goals efficiently.
- Problem Solving Skills: Capacity to identify and resolve problems independently.
- Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal skills to interact with team members and customers.
- Teamwork: Ability to contribute and work well with others to accomplish goals.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer operations, including point of sale.
- Reliable transportation: Access to reliable transportation for commuting to work.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Open Availability
- 1-2 years of retail experience
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be comfortable working on your feet for 8 hours a day
